Northern Family brings Southern Gospel Concert

Eight voices, over 15 instruments, an unforgettable musical journey! The Garms Family merges Southern Gospel, bluegrass gospel, and their own original flair to create a Christ-centered concert all ages can enjoy.

On Friday, November 29th at 7:00 p.m., the Garms Family will present a concert at Redeemer Lutheran Church.  The event is open to the public and admission is a freewill offering.

FROM HISTORIC AUDITORIUMS to a makeshift barn, The Garms Family brings songs and smiles to stages across the country. Blending vocals, personalities, and ideas, David and Kris with six of their kids—Ben, Taylor, Leesha, Sam, Jayme, and Caleb—create family harmony to orchestrate a concert of worship and joy.

The Garms Family’s musical journey began in 2005 when they started singing hymns in their living room. The kids, all home-schooled, taught themselves to play multiple instruments. Now they tour full-time across the United States and present a dynamic variety of original songs, hymns, and classics—all with a solid Gospel message. With over 15 instruments on stage, they can transition from a straight-up Southern Gospel group to an entire bluegrass band. Their infectious joy, professionalism, and eclectic style create a fresh appeal for all ages.    The family from Braham, Minnesota puts thousands of miles on their 40-foot motorhome each year. They’ve recorded over six CD projects at their home studio and love working as a team to accomplish their calling.

Not one of them claims to be worthy to stand on stage, but because The Garms Family has a Savior, Jesus Christ, Who died for their sin and saved them, they use their music and lives as testimonies to their Lord’s faithfulness and grace.
