Stewardship

Director: David Wilson

Christian stewardship is the free and joyous activity of the child of God and God’s family, the church, in managing all of life and life’s resources for God’s purposes.   God is the owner of everything and everyone. We are called to be Christian stewards by God’s grace and we are responsible and accountable.

Christian stewardship is a spiritual issue:

It is about the relationship God has established with us in Jesus Christ.

It is about the relationship we have with our neighbor.

It is about growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

It is about the steward living out his or her identity as God’s child.

"For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works."
